Considering that there was inactivation of up to 99.999% (Viral infectivity reduction of ≥ 4 log) of the viral contamination, it is possible to conclude that the SteriAir Equipment was effective in the destruction of viral particles at the times tested.

 

Therefore, under the conditions carried out in vitro, we recommend the use of the SteriAir Equipment as a potential virucidal agent for the Coronavirus group.

 

The action of the Equipment in contact with cells in vitro did not show toxic activity.
